It's fun to use your imagination with these cards. You can decrease or increase the size to fit any envelope of your choice. I made mine to fit a 4 3/4" x 5 3/4" Invitation envelope.

IRISH CARD

ERIN GO BRAGH

Translation: Ireland forever or Ireland till the end of time

It's sometimes fun mixing textures when making a card. This card was made using a free standing lace harp pattern. Instead of embroidering it on water soluble stabilizer, as you would, I embroidering the free standing lace harp pattern onto felt to hold the shape of the strings. I then proceeded to cut out the harp design from the felt, and was able to attach it on a decorated card.  I then cut the card on the right side of the harp, to make the harp sit right on the edge of the card.  On the inside of the card, I added a dark green border, which shows when looking at the front of the closed card, completing the look.  In the center of the shamrock I added just a little bit of sparkle with a green rhinestone.

BOX

I am so excited about this little box.  This was cut from the Spellbinder’s Grand Caliber Hexagon Petal Box die. It’s as clever as can be. You just cut and fold! I enhanced each petal with some sparkly paper to add more flair. The box measures about 3 1/2 inches, and is just big enough to hold a pair of earrings as a gift,  hold a party favor,  add a small card on the inside, or use it on a package as a unique tag. I see endless uses for this unique box.

INSIDE POCKET CARD

This card has a pretty floral design on the front. I displayed some pretty 3D flowers on an embossed frame.

But the most fun and unusual part of this card was making a pocket on the inside to insert a message.
The insert can be removed out of the pocket.

This can be very useful if you can't decide what type of card you want to make it, and want to finish this card at a future date.  At that time, you can tailor make it for the right occasion, typing a message, and finishing off the card. Besides...it's really pretty too.

MARTHA STEWART CIRCLE EDGE PUNCH

I made these bag toppers using the Martha Stewart Circle Edge Punch. You can cut doilies using a selected Martha Circle edge punch of your choice,  in a variety of 7 sizes (up to 12 inches) so that it will fit any size gift bag.
After cutting out my doily, I folded it in half, and make a slit just long enough to fit over the bag handle. Then I decorated this doily using layered flowers.
These doilies were made with three different circle edge punches. They are also of different sizes. There are many different cartridges now that can be used with the Martha Stewart circle edge punch. And what a great way to use them.

HAMLET

This is my old cat, who has been with us for around 16 years. He used to help me make cards by batting around all the scraps that fell to the floor, but recently he just enjoys sunning on the back patio.  He now probably dreams of batting scraps that float above his head. God love him!

HOWL AT THE MOON CARD

Someone requested that I make a card for her using a Coyote theme, and this is what I came up with. I didn't have a die cut I could use to make a coyote, or anything in my Cricut cartridges. So, I googled  "coyote", and found this lovely coyote to cut out and color using coloring pencils. I wanted to make a coyote in a desert, at night, with the mountains behind him, and this is what I came up with. I free-style cut out mountain ranges for the background, and cut out a large yellow moon using the spellbinders circle die. The stars are made from rhinestones to give it some sparkle.

MAKE A WISH BIRTHDAY CARD

This was a fun card to make. I made it using a fairy die by Cheery Lynn Designs. To accent the fairy, I made various size circles to go behind it. The fairy dust is made with rhinestones to give it some razzle-dazzle. To add to the magic of the card, I added various shaped stars.
